State Ballot Measures: Affordable Housing Bond and Beyond
Sep 30, 2026 12:00pm to 1:15pmZoomCalifornia voters face a critical moment this November. Proposition 1 (The Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026) offers an unprecedented $11.25 billion investment to build affordable housing, tackle homelessness, and expand homeownership.
At the same time, measures like Proposition 43 threaten vital local revenues by raising the voter threshold for funding public services to a two-thirds majority.
To help inform our community on what’s at stake, on September 30, Generation Housing is teaming up with housing leaders across the Bay Area for an educational webinar about the facts of Prop 1 and Prop 43.
Hosted By: East Bay Housing Organizations, Generation Housing, Call Marin Home, Housing Santa Cruz County, Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County, SV@Home, and All Home.
